Sooo tired.

Boy am I tired. This past weekend was exhausting. I ran 18 miles (only one more long training run before the marathon!) and helped Jason move. Let me tell you - 18 miles is far. My feet still hurt today. I have no idea how my body will be able to add an extra 8.2 miles onto that and come out alive. I'm scared. Very scared.

I did get to run in support of my heritage at the Norwegian Festival 1/2 marathon. I may have been 1 of maybe 5 actual Norwegians running the race, but it was still cool. And, I'm one race closer to hitting the 9/1 requirement for next years NY Marathon! After that one, I retire. When I was done running this week, my knees hurt. Not in a "I hurt myself" kind of way, but in an "I'm so freaking old and my body hates me" sort of way.

See the picture above? I took it on Saturday morning as the sun was rising as I was getting ready for my run. It was my last penthouse apartment skyline view. Sad Face. This is because Jason moved to a much more humble abode so he could save up some money for life's more important things (obviously a diamond collar for Dewey). The new place is really cute and I am very excited for him. Now, what to bake for the housewarming?
