Lauren gets married...on New Years Eve!

This New Years was amazing. I spent it with people I love, watching two people celebrate their love for each other. I can't think of a better way to start off 2010. Congratulations Lauren and Daren. I'm so happy for you both.

The good looking groom and bride, Daren and Lauren. I wish you the best in your future together. I love you both.

Let's Go Gators! My cheer ladies (sans bride) Shae, Katie, MK and me. Side note: I am the only one of them unmarried - weird feeling.

Me and the beautiful bride.

My hot date, trying to be sexy ;)

Mary, you make a really cute kid. Baby Addison rings in 2010 with a nap.

Thank you Patty for giving up your New Years to be my date.

Such a beautiful bride

I spent my Valentines Day witnessing one of the most beautiful weddings imaginable. It was exactly the wedding she had talked about since the day I met her. It was on a huge old plantation (I think it may of been 3000 acres) and it was absolutely stunning. She swore she wouldn't cry and ended up bawling. It is such and amazing thing to witness two people show the world how much they love each other. I can only hope that one day the same happens for me.

Dear Delta Airlines (and it's affiliates)

I feel like I am stuck in Johnathan Miles' Dear American Airlines. I started my adventure at 9:30 this morning to be a part of one of my best friend's weddings. It is currently 5:04 and I am not even half way to my destination. When my first flight was delayed I missed not 1, but 2 potential connecting flights. This means that I am now leaving Memphis at 6:20 and flying to Atlanta then to Tally. This gets me into Florida at 11:43 (but I have my doubts that 2 flights will remain on time), just in time for the rehearsal dinner to be over and the bride to be tucked into bed in order to get her beauty rest.

I just hope that I get there in time to give her a hug and tell her how happy I am for her. Here's to wishful thinking and airport food.

PS. one good thing about being stuck in Memphis for 3 hours is they have this great sub shop that seriously reminds me of Jimmy Johns. Oh, how I miss that place.
