During our search through all the antiques we came across this piece of folk art, or so it is labeled. It literally caused me to laugh out loud, really loudly. I just couldn't resist snapping a pic - thanks iPhone! It's Shrimp on the Barbie!

Shrimp on the Barbie
So my girlfriend and I decided to check out Brooklyn Flea's winter market in Dumbo this weekend. Overall the market was pretty disappointing. Turns out it's just their antiques market and not the whole Brooklyn Flea. Guess I will have to wait til April when it comes back to Fort Greene. Anyway, we still had a good time and even discovered this super cute coffee shop where we warmed up from the frigid temps outside.
